Gamma Colony: Biweekly Update #2

September 24th Update

We arrive at the end of our phenomenal rush fatigued yet proud. We faced many obstacles, but we were able to traverse our way through as a brotherhood. We continued hosting various events throughout the weeks such as the ever popular cookout and poker night. We spent many nights discussing and planning the future of our fraternity. It was truly special to see all of our efforts pay off with the signing of 18 new brothers. We managed to sustain the momentum and energy we carefully built our first few weeks. Now we rest and recover in preparation of our next great endeavor.

The Gamma Colony of Tau Kappa Epsilon at University of Illinois was installed as a chapter on February 3, 1912.

Since 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon has never had an exclusionary clause for membership. TKE does not judge men on their wealth, rank or honor, but instead on their personal worth and character.

Our mission is to "to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life." In essence, we build Better Men for a Better World.
